Editorial Policy

Good Plans publishes comparison pages and editorial guides about Australian NBN and mobile plans. The editorial goal is usefulness and accuracy, not provider promotion.

Editorial principles

  • Prefer factual comparisons over generic “best plan” claims.
  • Use provider websites as the source of truth for plan details.
  • Disclose affiliate relationships clearly.
  • Separate editorial explanation from commercial tracking.
  • Update or correct content when material inaccuracies are identified.

How reviews and guides are written

Review and comparison pages are based on publicly available provider information, pricing structure, plan inclusions, contract terms, and how easy the offer is for a typical Australian shopper to understand. Good Plans does not promise that any plan is the right fit for every reader, and opinionated summaries are framed around explicit tradeoffs rather than undisclosed ranking factors.

Commercial relationships

Some providers or offers may have affiliate relationships with Good Plans. Those relationships do not guarantee coverage, and they do not prevent the site from linking to non-affiliate providers when those providers are relevant to the comparison set.

Corrections

If a plan price, feature, or promotional detail is wrong, Good Plans aims to correct it quickly once verified. Editorial corrections are made when they improve factual accuracy, clarity, or user understanding.
